Scorned Mistress

Ya know--cheating is just sooooo not worth it! It hurts EVERYONE.

And don't hand me that old cliche about the libido of rich and powerful men. I don't buy it. Cheating happens just as often with not-so-rich men AND women.

I have no respect for anyone, male or female, who chooses (and that is the operative word here, folks-- CHOOSES) to cheat. None. Not one iota.

I also don't buy this 'soul mate'... excuse me... CRAP, either. It is an excuse, and it is a justification for CHOOSING to go outside of your marriage, period.

On your wedding day, you made VOWS, which are much deeper than a simple promise. If you cannot keep a promise, you won't keep your vows, either. Don't tell me that you can make a promise to your child and keep it if you cannot keep your marital promise, because I won't believe you. I probably also won't believe any other promise you make, either. SHOW ME, but DOING IT.

There is no excuse. And don't try to tell me how rotten your spouse is to you! If YOU are the one cheating, YOU are the rotten one! If you are not married, and set your sights on a married person, YOU are the rotten one! Some people seem to think that it is fun to 'go after' a married target, as if it is a badge of honor to break up a marriage. And some fools fall for that seduction. Others think it is fun to put more notches in their belts by having multiple 'affairs'. Does that make you a REAL MAN or a REAL WOMAN??? It makes you a fool who cares not one iota for your spouse, or for your children.

'It just happened'... B*** S***!!! It is a CHOICE. Stay away from temptation... it used to be phrased "Avoid the NEAR OCCASION OF SIN', but today, no one wants to hear that. Most of the time, you are not avoiding it...you are ENJOYING it!

Don't even bother to try to tell me that it takes two to make a marriage, if YOU invited a THIRD PARTY into it!! YOU broke your vows. YOU hurt your spouse! YOU hurt your children, and they will NEVER be the same as a result of it! NEVER... for they will be torn 'between two worlds forever'.

Marriage is sacred. Marriage is something that you work on, together. NOT til 'love dies'... love doesn't die. Love is an action word, and it is a CHOICE, not a feeling.

Feelings come and go. CHOOSING to love, to forgive, to stay committed is the high road. CHEATING is not even the LOW ROAD, it is the SEWER.

And cheaters eventually get found out.

Grant Desme Leaving Baseball for Priesthood

Said Desme on a Friday afternoon conference call:

"I'm doing well in baseball. But I had to get down to the bottom of things, to what was good in my life, what I wanted to do with my life. Baseball is a good thing, but that felt selfish of me when I felt that God was calling me more. It took awhile to trust that and open up to it and aim full steam toward him ... I love the game, but I'm going to aspire to higher things."

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- A Superior Court judge ruled on Friday in favor of former Gov. Sarah Palin in a lawsuit over her use of personal e-mail accounts to conduct state business.

But while Judge Patrick McKay writes that Palin did not violate the law, his 14-page ruling frequently empathizes with the Andree McLeod, a frequent Palin critic who filed the lawsuit.

McKay concluded, among other things, that "not all emails relating to state business are necessarily public records, and that the "use of private email accounts to conduct state business does not -- in and of itself -- violate state law."

A preliminary injunction issued Oct. 10, 2008 requiring Palin to "preserve for the duration of the litigation all emails whose content relates in any way to official state business" was also terminated. Palin "may revert to the procedures outlined in state statutes and GARRS (General Administrative Records Retention Schedule)."

McLeod filed the lawsuit in October of 2008 while Palin was campaigning for vice president.

Most (if not all) of the lawsuits have gone in Sarah Palin's favor, and IMHO, were frivolous. I am glad that this one also was ruled in her favor. But in this entire article, the sentence that struck me MOST is one that MORE JUDGES, especially those in the higher courts, should adhere to, but don't... examples of decisions that have MADE LAWS are easy to find, but the most famous is Roe v Wade, Jan 22, 1973, and more recently those states where same sex marriage has been ruled to be the law of the State even when the people have voted against it.

What is that statement she wrote into her decision? It is the LAST ONE OF THE ARTICLE.....

"It is not this court's job to legislate a ban to a lawful practice."

The rest of the article is interesting, and can be found here:

Put on Hold for ... ever?

An update ... this comment came in on my blog about the Canadian Parents who are fighting the hospital for their xon's life. The hospital and staff have decided to stop treating, remove life support from the baby, against the parents' wishes. So now... you say you want this universal health care bill that Obama, Pelosi and Reid have been pushing??

When Ann called to verbalize her concerns... let her tell it in her own words...

Anonymous Ann G. said...

I called this hospital yesterday. I told the woman who answered that I wanted to speak to someone to protest the hospital wanting to remove this baby's ventilator. She immediately asked me where I was calling from. I told her Ft. Wayne, Indiana, in the United States. She coldly said, "Really?!" I then tried to tell her that I was concerned for this baby and because the U.S. was considering this type of health care system. Before I could finish my sentence she clicked me over to hold without saying another word to me. I was on hold for 4 minutes and finally hung up because I'm pretty sure she was done with me.
I pray that God may break her heart of stone and replace it with one like His.

Sadly, it will happen more and more as time goes on.... we already are not being heard by our Legislators (and if they DO hear us, we are ignored).........

Lord, have mercy!

Pentagon Whitewash - Bill Bennett

Pentagon Whitewash - Bill Bennett - The Corner on National Review Online

I cannot tell you how angry I became as I read this column!
I also cannot disagree with a single word Bill Bennett has written~

Thank you to Jeff Miller (The Curt Jester), for drawing this to my attention.

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS is going to destroy us!

Lord, have Mercy!!

President Obama Heckled At Martha Coakley Rally In Boston - 01/17/10

Martha made a plea bargain with one of the worst teen male predators in the Church, letting him be able to prey on more teens before he was finally convicted and imprisoned 7 years later. Her 'proven track record'.

Martha has also JUST RECENTLY shown another aspect of her beliefs when she said CATHOLICS should not work in ER's if they live up to Catholic teaching on Life issues!!

Discrimination based on religion is not something that any legislator should be advocating.
