"He [Clyde Christensen] told us that decisions for life, like Tiffany's choice, affect generations. As he watches his daughters making an impact on our world for Christ, he sees how one difficult, but right choice can impact humanity for decades and bring about spiritual victories - which are bigger than those we see on the football field," Boone said of Christensen.
snip
Ultimately for Christensen, he credits his adoption with giving him a fullness of life he now enjoys. "I am a husband, a father of three terrific daughters, and I'm an NFL football coach. I don't know of anyone whose life has been more blessed than mine," he says. "Coaching has given me the opportunity to influence many young lives throughout the years. And today, my own beautiful girls have and will continue to impact this world for good. What an impact one right decision can have."
All I can say is AMEN!! Because Christensen's birth mother gave him LIFE, there are currently THREE from the next generation now living, with the next generation coming someday...
Because two women in our family history CHOSE LIFE (after 1973) for three daughters, there now exist not only those three, but another FIVE already born, and that is just so far... and my own birth son was born after my two daughters added their prayers to mine, so add three more to that total. Four adults, seven children... from 2 birth mothers that chose life. God bless them always.
And THIS is even better news... I wonder if the president is STILL 'comfortable'??
This will not be the first time Rep. Boehner wrote a letter to the president asking for Knox’s resignation. He wrote a similar letter last year and was told by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs that the president was “comfortable” with the people serving on his faith-based advisory council.
St. Michael Society, a Catholic organization, started an online petition calling for Knox to resign from his position on President Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
CNSNews.com asked Boehner at his press briefing Thursday whether he believed that Knox should resign.
“He should resign. And I have agreed to sign a letter,” said Boehner. “We can’t have in the White House an anti-Catholic bigot, and that’s what this gentleman appears to be.”
Boehner is a Roman Catholic.
I do NOT understand where all of our so-called Catholics are in that first video... like Pelosi.... Biden.... Kerry... et al.... do they, perhaps, agree with Knox??
Awhile ago, I wrote a short blog about something I have often considered removing from my archives, and each time, I did not even bother to look it up. I was writing about standing by your mate in illness, and that it was probably the only thing that I could find to admire about this man. Well.... that was obviously a sham, also... I quoted Harry S Truman in that piece, and it surely was prophetic~ (at least I have been TOLD that it was HST who said it...)
"A man who would lie to his wife would lie to me, and a man who would break his marriage vows would break his oath of office."
As more and more came out about the affair that John Edwards had, and the child he fathered, I became more and more angry.
But I'll tell you, NOTHING has made me angrier than listening to Andrew Young on Hannity for the past few nights! I was getting angry enough to spit nails, as the old saying goes.
How many times in the past years have I written, here and other places about the 'friends' of someone involved in extramarital affairs giving 'approval' of the cheating, of 'acceptance' of the affair and the aiding and abetting of that affair by covering for the persons involved? Myriads.
But I have to say that this one takes the cake.
The typical reaction today when 'friends, family, and acquaintances' learn that someone is CHEATING on their wife or husband is to say LITTLE OR NOTHING to that person, and feel pity for the spouse. SELDOM do they remember that we ARE our brother's keeper, and we ARE called to 'admonish the sinner'... we ARE called to remind that person of their VOWS, and not to condone WRONG. Most times, they say NOTHING. Often, they even go out to dinner with the 'new couple' while the SPOUSE sits at home, unsuspecting!!
These are FRIENDS?? These are FAMILY?? The excuses given include... I don't want to lose his/her friendship.... Who am I to judge?? ..... 'Judge not lest ye be judged'.... pardon my language, but B*** S***!!!
Now, I have also heard that Elizabeth Edwards was aware of her husband's unfaithfulness, but that does NOT excuse Andrew Young, or his wife, or anyone else who was aware that John Edwards was not only having an affair, but also fathered a child that he DENIED for TWO YEARS!! For what?? To sit in the White House and GOVERN our NATION, when he had EVERY reason to be BLACKMAILED???
While my earlier post from during the campaign is now no longer 'valid', as any 'respect' I may have had for this couple 'sticking together in sickness'.... my lack of respect is even MORE for Andrew Young than for the Edwards'!! ANYONE who would not only cover up his friend's infidelity... OR HIS BOSS'--but also LIE TO EVERYONE by claiming that HE was the one having an affair and HE was the father of that child, AND involve his wife in this sordid mess is despicable!! And any wife that would go along with this mess, and say nothing, for whatever reason, is as well.
Consider this:
His marriage was in tatters. His presidential campaign had ended with a primary loss in his birth state of South Carolina. But even with less to lose than he once had, John Edwards had to be hectored into calling his former mistress after the birth of their daughter on Feb. 27, 2008, former aide Andrew Young writes in a political tell-all published Saturday.
"In that moment, I felt as though a switch had turned in my heart," Young writes in "The Politician: An Insider's Account of John Edwards's Pursuit of the Presidency and the Scandal That Brought Him Down."
Young, a married father of three, had claimed paternity of the baby in December 2007, in a bid to preserve Edwards's political fortunes after the National Enquirer reported that Rielle Hunter was pregnant by the married former senator. But after a decade of service that had made him Edwards's longest-serving and most-trusted aide, Young writes that he could no longer ignore the doubts that had come with being part of the "dirty" and "disgusting" world of politics.
"A precious living, breathing human being -- his daughter -- had come into the world, and he wasn't even inclined to call the woman who had given birth to her. . . . My faith in him died almost instantly," Young writes.
Andrew Young said that the 'final straw' was Edwards' denial of paternity for his daughter... oh??? Obviously NOT, for he did not leave... he did not walk away... he got more and more deeply involved...
Hotly anticipated and preceded by a wave of mind-boggling revelations by Young and others, "The Politician" is a tale of Edwards's betrayal of the hopes and trust of those who believed in him and worked to elect him president. It is also an act of revenge on Edwards by Young, a man who knew of the affair from its earliest days and acted as a confidant for Hunter and Edwards as they pursued their romance across the United States and Africa.
Acted as a confidant in a cover-up of marital infidelity and the denial of a child born out of that infidelity...for how long?? And for how much $$??
Young writes that after he falsely claimed Hunter's baby as his own, he, his wife and Hunter were whisked away on a private jet and supported by some of Edwards's wealthiest donors and friends.
First, Young writes, they stayed at a resort that cost $8,000 for the week, where they received $1,000 in cash sent overnight. Then they stayed in trial lawyer Fred Baron's Aspen vacation home. Another hotel followed, at a cost of $10,000 for the week. Then Aspen again, and later -- until the baby was born -- a house in Santa Barbara that was leased for $20,000 a month.
When the Youngs could no longer take living with Hunter, whom they said was childlike and unwilling to contribute to household chores, Baron "wired several hundred thousand dollars" to the builders of Young's unfinished North Carolina home "as a gift," freeing his family to move elsewhere, Young writes.
Read the rest of this article, if you can stomach it. And watch these videos from Hannity if you are not already nauseated:
Andrew Young, you are no more of an honorable man that is your 'friend/employer', and you betrayed your wife and children in the process. Your own actions are JUST as despicable as those of John Edwards!!
I close this with the same ending that I did the older one. NONE of these people are honorable.
I (John), take you (Elizabeth) to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.
I (Elizabeth), take you (John) to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.

Bill O'Reilly Interviews Jehmu Greene About Pro-Life Super Bowl Ad
I watched this live. I could not get over her ... ignorance. She has not seen the ad, and she can only keep repeating the same thing over and over and over.... abortion is not health care. The time to make that 'choice' or decision about 'reproductive health' is BEFORE conception.
Have any of you seen the Planned Parenthood ads???? Does she also say they are also one-sided and 'thinly veiled' to promote abortion/contraception?? I bet not.
