Since the news of the Gaza Strip, I have been reading others who know so much more than I do about the issue, and meaning to point to their websites, but did not have time to blog much in the past weeks due to working many hours and requiring sleep.

My friend Janjan had excellent posts on her With Issue Blog when Katrina hit. She has some VERY good posts on that subject, also, with places to go to contribute for both those in Israel and those in the path of Katrina.

Her latest on the evacuation of Israelis is in regard to an attack on a CHRISTIAN village by Palestinians.

From Mid August to Aug 21, Janjan has one after another of posts on the evacuation of Jews from the Gaza Strip, etc. There is also another Catholic who has blogged a lot on this topic, someguy.

And both have had many very good posts about Katrina... Someguy has this powerful one.

It's even more heartbreaking. They were dismantling the synagogue. Please keep them all in your prayers. I don't think the soldiers will ever get over this, and they certainly will never forgive Ariel Sharon.
