Offer your heaviest Cross in Reparation...

40 yrs since Humanae Vitae....seems like yesterday... so much has happened since then. Had we only heeded Paul VI then....

Once again we mark an occasion worthy of being the subject of both Spirit & Life and Humanae Vitae Priests. My apologies for getting this to you on the very day, I realize prayer and fasting often requires some preparation.

In this light I'll make a humble suggestion: If you were not able to prepare, I recommend doing some of God's jujitsu, by offering your heaviest cross, even if just for the rest of the day, for the intention of reparation for 40 (yrs) of dissent against Humanae Vitae, thus turning pain and struggle to the good, and God's purposes.

After all, many of the crosses we carry today are the direct or indirect result of the rejection of the prophecies of Pope Paul VI in Humanae Vitae. How many sufferings in our lives are the direct result of the abuse of the sexual faculty that dissent from Humanae Vitae encouraged? Many, I'm afraid.
