Wanting to scream out loud in public!!!!!!!!

I have permission to put this in my blog from the author, "Debbie". It happened today, near Charleston, SC. My friend "J" had forwarded it to a group we are in together.

"Debbie" shares my long time feelings about PP. It always amazes me that people truly buy into the popular notion that it is a place that HELPS women, and poor, and minorities, etc, when its founder, Margaret Sanger was a well known racist and eugenics promoter. Regardless of the spin today's libs want to put on her work... like wikipedia has about her... the people she worked with and her own works bear this up.

For those of you who do not know, Lowcountry Parent Magazine is a free publicaton available nearly everywhere parents or children congregate.  They are supported by advertising.  They detail parenting information and have family oriented articles on current events, etc.  Well, I was sitting in the kids dentist office today and was skimming over a copy they had.  Apparently in a previous edition they requested readers to rate businesses, etc for them to publish the most popular family institutions in the lowcountry.  They had winners for restaurants, doctors, places for birthday parties, etc.  In the service category they had a sublisting for charity.  Can you believe the readers of Lowcountry Parent Magazine listed Planned Parenthood as the most family friendly charity in the Lowcountry.  PLANNED PARENTHOOD!!!!!!      I literally gasped when I read it.  I gasped so loud that others in the lobby looked my way.  In my astonishment I preceeded to announce to all those in the waiting room the reason for my shocked expression.  I must have appeared to be a raving lunatic.  Most just went back to their magazine.  A couple just shook their head.  Who knows what they were shaking their head at - Me or the ignorance of the community.  How can an organization who's purpose is to prevent families actually convince the public that they are the MOST family friendly organization in the community. 

 

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America is the largest promoter of abortion in the United States. Through their extensive sex education programs and their teen website, teenwire.com, PPFA targets youth and young adults, educating them that any and all forms of sexual expression are not only valid but encouraged.

Not only is Planned Parenthood responsible for countless abortions, leaving so many women hurting after the loss of their children, the organization is largely responsible for our culture's disintegrating respect for traditional marriage in exchange for "partnerships" and "sexual self-expression." The goals of Planned Parenthood are made painfully clear in the statement of Gloria Feldt, as quoted in the Washington Times, January 22, 1997, "Reproductive choices (including abortion) are not just legal rights but are recognized as moral necessities without which there can be no liberty."
 

We are doing something wrong!  I just don't know what to do!  I'm so angry!
