Weigh In!/ High School /Vows /20/20: Marry Your Baby Daddy/Getting Organized - 1/08/08

Dear Diane,
Just a quick comment about the "VOWS" story of the two people who broke up their marriages to marry each other.
The title: "An Illicit Yoga Love Story".. "illicit" and "love story" sounds like an oxymoron to me.
Based on the general statistics for the long-term success of second marriages that result from an affair (about 70% chance of divorce), it's very unlikely that this "love story" will have a happy ending for anyone.

She did not send any link to the story referenced here by Peggy Vaughan, so I looked for it, and found it.
Note the underlying lack of trust in what these two ‘soul mates’ are saying to and about each other.
Sad that two families have been torn apart for ‘I’m satisfied’.
Imagine for ONE MOMENT what his dear first wife, cheated on and then abandoned feels when she reads this… garbage.
How first husband feels when HE sees this photo all over the internet.
Ah, but.. these two are ‘satisfied’.
Think what the kids feel when they see and read that their dear mother ‘satisfies’ another man.
Sick.
Oh, the rest of the title of that article?
They ALL forgot the kids (even if adults)…but they remembered…

An Illicit Yoga Love Story
When the “stud-muffin guru” hooked up with his student,
disciples were left reeling.
*********
Yeah, the 'disciples'....
But what about the first wife, and the first husband, and the children?
What about their extended families?
Friends?
THEY were told to 'get ON with their lives', and to act as though everything is just fine with them...
after all, if they REALLY loved these two... they'd 'want them to be happy, no matter WHO they were with...'
.... right??
God have Mercy on all of us.
It is opposed by an anti-life mentality as is seen in contraception,
abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. It is scorned and banalized
by pornography, desecrated by fornication and adultery, mocked by homosexuality,
sabotaged by irregular unions and cut in two by divorce.”

The groom says:I (...), take you (...) to be my wife.
I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad,
in sickness and in health.
I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.
The bride says:I (...), take you (...) to be my husband.
I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad,
in sickness and in health.
I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.
