Fr Weslin Arrested at Notre Dame

Fr Norman Weslin, an 80 yr old priest who founded the Lambs of Christ.

Something that ANGERS me immensely is this description of the Lambs of Christ in wikipedia.

The Lambs of Christ

The Lambs of Christ, also known as Victim Souls of the Unborn Christ-Child,
is an pro-life organization in the United States. It was founded in 1988 by the Rev'd Norman Weslin,a Roman Catholic priest and retired U.S. Army Chaplain (Lieutenant Colonel).
The group claims to be nonviolent.

That, and an old Time article that is slanted toward inference that his group has at least a potential for violence really does make me angry. One can tell that the author has NO understanding of what a spiritual battle is.

We need to learn, for we are in one!! Perhaps it is the most important part of it since Creation began.

God bless!

I watched a video of some of the arrests over at the caveman and it made my eyes swell with tears... I wasn't so sure they didn't hurt Fr. Weslin... though I think they were trying to be as careful as they could... how could those security officers follow through? I mean, I know, they're doing their job, but this is all so ridiculous! Pro-life Catholics being arrested on a "Catholic" University Campus!! Yet "honoring" one that is SO contrary to CORE Catholic beliefs!! God have Mercy! Jane told me that the saddest part was that many of the students on the campus were "booing" them, when they were trying fervantly to educate them on WHY this is so bad... products of their environment... sad, sad, sad... spiritual "battle" for sure... Joan of Arc, St. Michael! PRAY for us!

Sad, isn't it? Some who were booing may not be Catholic, and some may not be ND students. Hard to know. But just the thought of a Catholic university having anyone barred from speaking about LIFE, and against abortion is very very sad for me, much less having them arrested for trespassing.

Actually, it goes even deeper. To have to protest any recipient of an Honorary Degree for the reasons that have led to this protest is sad enough, but when it is at a CATHOLIC university, it is even more sad.

God bless, Lee!
