Honor? Why the Silence, John McCain?
Cuffy from Perfunction has put together this video... and asks the same question I have asked. Where is John McCain, and why is he silent on his staffers bashing Sarah Palin?
What happened to "never leaving a buddy behind"?

I really don't think he cares who takes the heat for the loss. I think that he was so diametrically opposed to Sarah in his opinions that they probably wouldn't work together as a Prez/VP??
I don't really think he wants to LOSE it in public and I think he has a pretty good temper that he's kept hidden for the whole campaign ... he may be really angry about this whole thing. All the people grousing about her are the ones that will be looking for a job shortly - they are bitter! :(
I don't think he has to lose his temper, per se. But he can tell them to stop, and reiterate the good she has done. He can also very strongly state that this is not honorable behavior.
I am not certain that they are so diametrically opposed as they are strong personalities. Sarah is more Life oriented than McCain is (as am I), but they are both committed to defense of our nation, and leaving Iraq with honor (not like we did in Vietnam). I also think that they had already delineated the areas that she would be in charge of, including special needs children.
But even more...there are times when anger is justified. And I think that this is one of them.
I don't think McCain has the courage to come out and protect Sarah. I really wonder about his character in light of this loss and not letting Sarah say goodbye to the people in Phoenix. Also, it could be that she has the power and she over powered him with the Conservative base coming into his camp, where we were wondering how we could vote for him... Meg
It is along those lines that my own thoughts have been going...
I am also wondering what will be going on at the Governor's meeting coming up.
