The Speech
What Palin wrought.
by William Kristol

He has long been hoping that Sarah Palin would be the VP pick. Here he makes three points about her speech. (Also, see the NY Times column he refers to).

God bless!

I like that article. Can you believe Hussien is trying to swipe at Gov Palin? About earmarks, but with no specifics. Everyone has a lobbyest to get work done....Meg

P.S. Was she near you in WI yesterday?

P.S.S. Doesn't the Democrats understand that the Presidental race just STARTED on 09/05/08, not 19 mos ago???? I mean so much for their genius.

They were in Cedarburg WI, near Milwaukee (in fact, very close) which is about two hours or so away from me. Had I not worked Thurs, Friday and Saturday third shifts, I would have gone and tried to see them. But it was not possible. If and when they come to Northeastern Wisconsin (as in nearer to Green Bay or Appleton area), I will try then even if I have to work.

They have been campaigning sooo long this time around that I think that some of them think that it is over, and they have won...We'll see. Many are praying hard...and I really hope that the McCain-Palin ticket wins in the end (November).

I also think it stinks that someone (cannot remember the name) can continue to speak about her family situation, etc and get away with it by saying that he is speaking for himself, and not a part of the campaign (with an almost IMMEDIATE disclaimer by the campaign--which says to me that 'the campaign' may have been aware that this was going to take place.... my suspicious nature, I guess).

I really like her, Meg. I really do.

God bless!
