Thinking of Dad on Father's Day

Dad
April 3, 1925 to June 3, 1987
Served in the Army WWII in Germany
Married Mom Oct 2, 1948 at St Mary's Kaukauna, WI
Father of ten living children, six daughters and four sons
Grandfather of 31, soon to be 32, plus at least one in Heaven
Great-grandfather of 14, soon to be sixteen, with at least three in Heaven,
and that is just the beginning.
"Adopted" the children of my penpal, Mary O'Meara, while in Ireland with Mom and my brother ("but don't tell your mother"), especially her Kim, whom he dubbed a 'little imp".
Kissed the Blarney Stone.
Loved to tell jokes, golfed on men's leagues, couples' leagues and any time he got a chance to.
Hard working man, self-taught in many ways.
Middle management for years, having worked his way up,
at Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co in Kaukauna, WI.

Dad, you are often thought of, and very much missed.
May he rest in peace.

Thank you, Jean. I have been thinking of him a lot lately, and missing him.

God bless!
