On Heroes and Cads....

The Church Militant has examples of two heroic men (more, in reality... see his posts), and one... not even fit to be their doormat:

Here, he has mentioned two men, one a Hero, one a Cad.
Actually, there is a second hero IMHO in the 'Cad story'...a student named Paul Trost, 20.

Lt. Col. Gregory "Pappy" Boyington and four other graduates of University of Washington with their Medal of Honor Citations are listed (three of whom were awarded posthumously this high honor) in another post here. He continues his coverage of the Univ of Washington (I cannot write UW... to me it means Madison... but that is another story altogether...)

He takes a slight swing at another ... uhm, guy to be admired (NOT) from another University out in Denver along the way to the Cad....
