LOL I have tons. Sun does not tan me, but makes me freckle and burn. Mom always told my youngest sister that her freckles were Angel Kisses...
When I go to the Dominican Republic to do Dental Work with the two orphanages, there is a young girl, now a teen with tons of good-sized freckles who is very special to me. I have told her that they are "Besos Del Ángel", and she loves it!
Aww, this reminded me of my grandma. She used to tell me this when I was a little girl, and I believed it wholeheartedly. It made me feel so special.
I only have a few freckles, but when I go out in the sun, they sprinkle out across my nose and make me feel like a kid again.
Thanks for bringing up such warm memories!
LOL Mom said it to my little sister all the time when she was upset or teased about her freckles...
