Reminder for Prayer for Dylan and family

Dylan with Baby Hope

An update on Dylan came again. A reminder to keep him and his family in prayer. He is a real trooper, and has already been through a lot in his short life!

His family also can use continued prayer... Mom, Dad, his two sisters, and extended family members like his Aunt Leann.

Dylan's story can be followed in full here, in a series up updates since the first request for prayer this past April 27th.

God bless!!

Leann went back to work last month, so I don't hear from her as much, but here is the latest on Dylan... I'm so glad that it seems they will have a Merry Christmas....

Good morning,

I just wanted to send out a short email on Dylan's treatments and how he is doing... So far so good, he's withstanding the every two week chemo treatments, and over the weekend and today he is having some more scans run to see what the spot on his lung looks like now that the radiation is completed.

He is always in good spirits and is looking forward to Christmas. He wants a remote control airplane, but we are having a little difficulty finding one he could work.

Finally, on Saturday while I was down there visiting him and my sister we went to the cafeteria to eat lunch and I had the privilege of meeting the doctor (Dr. Andy) that saved Dylan's life when we for a brief time started to lose him after surgery. When we saw him, he just picked Dylan up in his arms and gave him the biggest hug.

This was the first time I had gone onto the floor since his surgery in April and as one nurse told me, Dylan is the star of the floor, I got the chance to really see that. When they see that Dylan is coming for treatment they fight over who is going to get him. They truly love him there and boy he knows how to work them all. If one says no, he will find someone who will say yes.

His final treatment if all goes as it should will be January 26th.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Leann
