All are invited to a reception in the North Narthex
following the Mass to celebrate the 8th anniversary
of the "Chapel of Divine Mercy."

To venerate a sacred image, statue, or relic means to
perform some act or make some gesture of deep religious
respect toward it because of the person it represents.

(It is NOT worship. Could be compared to kissing, holding, hugging
your mother's, spouse's, or child's photo after they are gone -- for whatever reason, ie, military, death, etc).
