However, yours is not only a bigoted statement, it is judgmental and, and very full of sterotypes.

An older American who happens to be of the Caucasian race is NOT necessarily senile, nor washed up. He/she may be retired, but are often still very active in other interests and pursuits. It also does not mean that they are at the bottom of the intellectual barrel. The majority of the older citizens of this country are still highly functioning persons, Paul.

The Republican Party did not seek out YOUR opinion, nor mine, and I highly doubt that they sought out Andy Williams, either.
