An interesting, hopeful pick. But does she oppose unjust divorces?

Do you know WI?

Currently, I will be voting against Obama and the Democratic Divorce/Death/Destroy the Family Machine, rather than for Mr. McCain. Perhaps I'll be able to, less tightly, squeeze my nose as I pull the little lever in November, as a result of this VP.

God be with you, WI!

I am not sure, Karl. It is one thing I have not been able to find out. However, today is their 20th wedding anniversary (Mc Cain's bday, as well), and the woman not only went after corruption in her own party, and fired those who were part of it, she also, at age 43/44 went through her last pregnancy KNOWING her son has Down's Syndrome, and returned to work shortly after birth, bringing him with her!

She has guts, she hunts, she has a supportive husband, whom she loves, and made sure that the world knew that today.

I have much less trouble pulling the lever now than I did when I was hearing he was going to choose Romney or Lieberman...

God bless, Karl! If I find out her stand (she is not Catholic), I will let you know. You do the same, ok?

I have a friend who had seen something about this when it was being speculated about her this morning, just before confirmed by someone in McCain's campaign. I am not sure what to make of it.

Would have to know much more before I just to any kinds of conclusions. Sounds like he wanted out from the marriage.

Wonder what the outcome will be?

God bless!

Sarah and Todd have been married 20 years today. They have been together since high school in the early 80"s - That information is about her sister not Sarah. She is pro-life, pro-family, pro-country and pro-military, since military is very large in our state!! Let me know if you want more info. Meg AK

I knew you'd be here... grin! I have liked her since I read about her baby, but you knew that. I'd heard only bits and pieces prior to that.

Any idea at all of what she thinks of no fault forced divorce? That is what Karl was asking earlier.

Thanks!

God bless

I go with her actions in her life. Divorce is not mentioned up here because there is alot of it due to Military spouses, people working on the slope away from home and it is hard living in AK for most people due to the dark. So she is pro-family. Will she set out to change the laws, probably not, but she is pro marriage, she did veto the bill to give same couples Ak benefits. Hope that helps. Meg

It seems that she has had somewhat of an education in the way it works, so they are on my prayer list for protection, as far as their marriage goes.

I cannot believe the people who keep saying she has no experience... in my mind, she has years of it..first on City Council, then Mayor, then Governor, etc.

God bless, Meg! In your 'tiny' State (WHAT?? LOL) of Alaska, in your very small town of 9000 (I live in one with under 12,000... and had lived in one with about half of that for years... well, actually two...) I hope you all celebrate well, but wisely... grin.
