"RIKE IT!" Please read and Pray

"RIKE IT!" A comment by a tiny child who could not say "I DON'T LIKE IT!" (the grandchild of a friend of mine...) Well, I am saying it a lot lately.

Trust is sometimes a very hard thing for me to do, but it is a choice that I have made MANY times over my life. "Jesus, I trust in You" gets repeated over and over and over again until I am able to rest in Him.

Please keep me in prayer, those of you who are readers, and you may ask others who pray to do the same.

I do not do well as a patient. I know too much, I don't know enough. I don't like pain. I'd frankly rather take care of YOU than be the one being taken care of...

Tony Snow is my hero right now, for a lot of reasons, but mainly for his ability to live life abundantly in spite of his health. I think that it is Paul who has a slightly cryptic note in one of his letters about those who understand will know the meaning here. DON'T ask me where that is, however, as I can barely remember having read it in the many times I have read the NT.... LOL.

I have not been faithful here for a variety of reasons, including my mother's two cataract surgeries and recovery (she is doing GREAT, and has better vision than I ever had...sigh!! )

But this time, it is ME that is causing the lack of posting on my favorite hot topics. Have a lot to say on the Middle East situation, Israel, Iran, etc...

I have plenty to say about the Paris Hilton saga, had plenty about Anna Nicole's baby and her Dad, have a LOT to say about the multitude of candidates being pushed on us already ... and how FEW impress me as anyone that I can vote for!!!

I HATE the 'sound byte' commercials that Romney has already!! I am so NOT into 'sound bytes'...

I am not impressed with Guilliani's (spelling? sorry, no time to look it up) marital history, stand on abortion, etc, yet many are trying to convince us that we should 'compromise' on the most important issues in order to have security, etc... Oh, wow.... trade in our inheritance for a bowl of pottage?? I fear that reasoning just won't fly with Him.....

Have things to say about illegal immigration, etc. But at this time, none of them are enough to make me write down my thoughts, because at this time, too much is going on here, too quickly.

PLEASE pray for me and for my children, grandchildren. Due to health problems (I FEEL fine, just had ONE SYMPTOM that started all of this.... I am in no pain, have no nausea, am not dying, had a NORMAL EKG, thank Goodness).... just one symptom, and tests, and then the finding that is sending me back to the hospital for surgery on Monday.

I can/will check email later in the week, and IF I can get to a computer in the hospital, will send an update as soon as I can.

God bless!
