Leaked US Bishops Draft Marriage Pastoral Letter Strong, but Under Fire from Dissidents

So what's new? Dissidents have been undermining the Church for years (as far back as Fr Charles Curran, et al--and even before...)

I wish that the 'leaked' letter was printed in full, because up to now, there has really been very little to teach the Truth of indissolubility (permanency) of marriage. Instead, there has been a LOT of 'compassion' for those wanting to enter second marriages, and return to full communion with the Church...at the expense of the first spouses and the first children....

Which brings us to this day--where we now have to defend one man/one woman marriage.

Sad. This fight should have been undertaken when Reagan signed the first state's 'no fault' divorce law into being way back in 1969, before the Uniform Marriage and Divorce Act (UMDA) was signed in 1973....
